I do feel very concerned about the threat to prohibit natural and herbal products and have done for years. I am concerned about the unwarranted influence of the large drug companies and the threat to introduce GM products into remedies and medicines.

There must be a better way, one that protects the public from charlatans while allowing freedom of choice in medical care and treatment. Perhaps the greatest charlatans of all are the pharmaceutical industry.

as a qualified medical herbalist, i still support the rights of the people of this soverign land to choose what and how they improve their lives outside of big pharma drugging the nation. the people have a right to help themselves with supplements herbs and healthy foodstuffs, surely this is a human rights issue?

Interferring in peoples right to take natural supplements is taking away freedom of individual choice. The House of Lords supported this as a premis. This is being driven by the big pharmaceuticals. Assert your right to free choice. Stop big business trying to do this in order to maximse their own profits and crush opposition. We live in a democracy (I think).
